Told our hotel receptionist we didn't want to eat French or pizza when in Bali, we wanted to eat Balinese food. She directed us to Kunyit Bali and we were happy with her choice. It's not fine dining, but it's a great open air restaurant with a nice ambience and good value. Everyone raved about the sate sticks so suggest... More

We ordered Sate, Gado gado, and Nasi Goreng with beer on our first night in Kuta. I like Indonesian food, so I was quite pumped to have it in Bali, Indonesia for the first time. It turned out to be the worst Nasi Goreng I had in Bali and right then I decided to write on it on Tripadvisor when... More

Situated next to Garis Garis restaurant. Very cosy restaurant. No airconditioning. Ceiling fan only. Tried Bebek special and Bebek betutu. Both duck dishes. Fried one taste better. The other is steamed with herbs. Satays taste good but Warung Made's taste better. Also tried otak-otak, fish dish similar to other part of Indonesia and Malaysia. Taste good too.

You will always get a great meal at Kunyit. The food is amazing and the staff go the extra mile to ensure you have a great experience. The food is authentic Balinese cuisine which is full of flavour. They make the best Satay in Bali we have tasted.

Excellent Balinese cuisine. Bebek Kunyit and Bebek Garang Asam are MUST TRY. The garden design and thatched roof huts makes you forget you are dining just feet away from the busy tourist main road. Great value for money.

Last Nov 2012 we missed to dine at Kunyit as the taxi driver brought us to wrong Santika Hotel. This visit... I do not want to miss it again as we got a good recommendation from a good friend. OMG... after walking all the way from our hotel in Sheraton Kuta, we finally arrived in Kunyit and ordered Bebek Kunyit... More

It was not easy for us to find this restaurant. We missed the way and started with the wrong side of our street. After 20 minutes of walking we finally made it. It was a nice surprise. Good balinian athmosphere, polite personnel and good original food from Bali. We ordered a menue for 2 persons and we got delicious balinian... More

We entered Kunyit Bali without any expectations, we hadn't read any reviews. It looked good, and we went in. The olden style ambiance with a wide front garden, thatched roof, wooden flooring and wood furniture, caught our attention. The experience was only to be enhanced by excellent service from a courteous staff. We ordered some authentic Balinese cuisine - gado-gado... More

I really like this restaurant because they have such an authentic Balinese food. The service was also good. The staff were attentive and polite. I especially like their Balinese Bakmi Goreng or Balinese Fried Noodle. Skip the dessert, the selections were not special, just opt for a fresh young coconut drink instead.
