A unique buffet style traditional restaurant serving sundanese cuisine. The food selection was plenty and all taste very good. The food price is really affordable :)

For a traditional Sundanese restaurant, I surely see that this restaurant is over rated on some of the review. Compared to other Sundanese restaurant, the hygiene definitely is below a restaurant standard of operation. It shows the standard of a hawker stall with a price of a restaurant. Still wandering the main reason why actually it is quiet famous in... More

If you are looking for a traditional restaurant, then this restaurant will suit you. When I said traditional, this is also included the eating utentils which most of them have been rusty. So be prepared for it. Foods are various, with traditional snacks and also traditional drinks such as es cendol. I also love the free hot tea. It taste... More

I could go to this place 3 times in a week when I stayed in Bandung. "Bancakan" in Sundanese/Javanese means big feast for celebration. Well, I literally did have big feasts at Bancakan, because everything is displayed and you can get this euphoria feeling that you want to put everything displayed to your plate! Traditional Sundanese dishes like sambel leunca... More

This place reminds me my childhood memories. Here you can find authentic sundanese delicacies and drinks, served in a traditional way.. also old fashioned plates, cups, etc, which are hard to find nowadays. The food was very good and inexpensive. The staff was friendly and polite. The only minus was the queue at the cashier. You should try this restaurant... More

They serve typical sundanese foods, typical home cooked meals. Self service, fairly cheap, tasty. Plates and cups are made of tin, old fashioned traditional way of dinning. However downside is i spotted bugs & flies roaming around making your dinning experience unforgetable one.

I've visited this place many many times and i haven't gotten bored with the food as they have many selections. My favorite is the classic traditional food that people rarely cook anymore. The taste is very sundanese and the tin plates n cups just throws me back to my childhood.. SUPERB...

I first knew about this place when it was still called Pawon Bistro.. The food are home-cooked style, looove the nasi liwet and the kue balok.. Staff are quick and efficient, and Abah (one of the so-called owners) is very nice and friendly :):)
