we stayed at the seagreen guesthouse so breakfast here was the perfect location. The hoppers are superb. Service was very friendly
After arriving at Seagreen's adjacent guesthouse, we took both evening meal and breakfast here. Both were tasty and well-presented, cooked to order with fresh ingredients particularly the chillis. The restaurant may be quite small, but the proprietor,Channa, is friendly and chatty about the food and locality, and the breezy terrace overlooking the fort ramparts and its numerous cricketers was a... This is a strange review of a restaurant -- we didn't get to eat here. We stopped by mid-afternoon to find out what time they started serving dinner, and were told firmly that the restaurant would be open at 6:30pm. We were hungry early, but really wanted to eat here so we waited. Finally, we walked to the restaurant and... More
We ate there tonight and the food was lovely and so was the service and the Drinks. The owner is a lovely guy, we very much enjoyed our time there..we especially liked the grilled cuttlefish and butterfish as well as the fresh watermelonjuice. They serve the seafood with a very nice side salad which contains pineapple and carrots..good value and... More

Ate last night in the most wonderful restaurant. Not pretentious just a local excellent restaurant. 6 table and we were the only diners. The owners wife cooks and we ate fresh fish. The owner offered - free of charge - to take us back to our hotel. Highly recommended - try it you won't be disappointed .
This little place is really simple but they put everything in the food. You know when you talk to the owner that he cares about the freshness of the food. The price are also cheap comparing the others restaurant in Galle.
This is a very small restaurant. The owner was very friendly. The prices was good. The food was enjoyable. The butter fish was great. The devilled calamari was ok. All up we had a pleasant evening here. This is by no means an amazing restaurant, but we would definitely come back here if we were in Galle again and would... More
