Negombo beach is very touristic and the restaurant prices higher than elsewhere. King Coconut prices were similar to other places but the quality and quantity of food served here was better than others. We wrapped up our Sri Lankan journey with lunch here, at our driver's recommendation. And boy was it good. Superbly located on the beach (I went for a walk after lunch), and with really, really good food. The value was the other winner - nowhere near the prices you'd expect for potentially the best seafood lunch in Sri Lanka.

Well priced food and beverages. Seafood was amazing, especially the seafood platter! The staff were friendly, genuine and eager to please. Restaurant is situated right on the beach and the sound of the waves adds to the ambiance. Would definitely recommend it!

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor I was expecting good food and I wasnt dissapointed. The food was very good and service was friendly, and it was good value for money.

A plate of prawns I will never forget! Its not the plushest of restaurants but the food is great and the view of the beach is lovely at sunset.
