A cave experiance, it is like dining inside a cave, nice decoration and design of the location. It serve a authentic Thai food, especially love the pork knuckle, extreme spicy tomyam. Overall...nice food but kinda expensive.

The surrounding was definitely beautiful with its natural interior. The restaurant also overlooks a river. However, the food was only so-so. Maybe cooked more towards the Westerners taste rather than Asian. But if you're not fussy and want a nice environment, this is probably one of the few in Hat Yai..
We had a chance to try Log Terrace Restaurant.
Finding the place (by car) was not a problem as the place is on Garmin map's POI
The restaurant is located just off a junction. There was no signage indicating the small road is leading diners to the restaurant. I could be wrong but I did not see any !

The restaurant decoration is special, by stone. But the price was slightly expensive. Food is nice. Anyway, I'm recommended to visit this restaurant.
Very unique and beautiful restaurant.
Loved the decor and ambiance of the walkway leading to the restaurant eating area.
Very lovely and unique use of wood and logs in the decor.
Food was good but the portions was a bit small for a group of 10 even through we ordered the largest dish. Ended up re-ordering extra food.
Beware of...

a nice place in Hat Yai - definitely worth checking out. the food is good, not too expensive, and the setting is very pleasant
It was very impressive and food tasty in the early years. Now, the food is not good . Only 1 dish I found still alright is the "look ching pla Phuket" - fish ball.
We've been visiting Log Terrace for more than 5 years. Last night, we were so disappointed in the food that we may never visit again.
Granted, it's the rainy season and there were no other customers to sit outside, along the river, but one would think our meal would have gotten special attention by the cook, instead it was the...

It was once a gem. Not anymore, it ain't. Excellent decor, yet cobwebs, musky smells, traces of abandonment permeated this once hallowed halls. Mozzies (damn!) will feed on you everytime you feed here.
Foodwise, just average, perhaps their cooks packed up & left, leaving few to tend the kitchen & fend off the mozzies.
Please print new menus!!! The menus...

This place was introduced by our van driver. I find the set up rather unique as the interior decorations and set up are made to make you fill like you are in the forest? The is also a medium size pond like acquarium inside the premise with baby sharks, lohan and other fishes ... This place is something similar to...
