New chef that Gorden Ramseyed it. Pared down menu with all the old favourites even better. My Swordfish Piccata was superb - I even ate my rice and veggies, and my husband's Rack of Lamb was better than ever. Be sure to go to in the Bay.

this place is part of the bay it is always the best place to dine i like to dress up and go there to eat because it can be a beautiful formal night which is becoming a rarity these days. i have always had a beautiful meal there and the bar is good and has good entertainment
Large dining room. They do cater to bus groups so the service can be a bit slow when they are there but other than that they try very hard to give good service. We can't complain. Ours was good. The food was good and the prices reasonable.
This is the best restaurant in town. Great food and more staff than they know what to do with. Real authentic New York City type of steakhouse.
A nieghbor of ours recommended this for a great dinner. Though the dinner was great we thought the price was a little high and did not get the value we thought we were going to get.

There are no fabulous resteraunts in the 1000 Islands but Cavallario's is probably the best choice for dinner in Alexandria Bay. The food is good and there is something for everyone.
We wanted to eat light and had soup and appetizer. The French Onion Soup is extraordinary and the Clam Chowder good. The crab stuffed mushrooms were good and the calamari was unusually seasoned and lightly battered. It comes with a cocktail sauce but we recommend the marinara. I'd go back for the calamari.
My husband's steak was pretty good; my stuffed shrimp were not (lots of breadcrumbs, very few shrimp). Good bread; odd salads and " relishes;" outdated decor. Wouldn't go here again.
The outside of the building is shaped like a castle but Inside there is a large, tastefully decorated dining room with a medieval theme maybe a throwback to the 60's. I might have even eaten here back then when I was a kid coming up from Syracuse. We were greeted immediately and while we were deciding on the extensive menu,...
