We had several meals at The White Lotus. We were not disappointed with any of our selections. I would definitely recommend.

This restaurant has a big sign in front saying that they are number 1 on tripadvisor. We've been in Vietnam for months now, so we went for European food. The ribs turned out to be pork medallions, mushroom cream soup was more like worm fat cream with chopped mushrooms. Maybe they are good at local food, but definitely not in...

First, I will say clearly and unequivocally that we DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT have a sign at the front of, or displayed anywhere else at White Lotus Restaurant saying or inferring that the restaurant is #1 on Trip Advisor in Hoi An.
To do so would be dishonest, for a complainant to infer so, libellous. Yes, even on social...

A group of 5 of us did the cooking class, including one teenager. We all enjoyed it, from the walk around the market,, back on the boat, and then the cooking. We selected 3 things to cook and all were involved in cutting, putting together and cooking - yes even the men! It was good fun and I can't wait...

3 girls with an addiction to fresh spring rolls travelling though Vietnam and we discovered this restaurant our first afternoon in Hoi An.
If course we had to try the fresh spring rolls and they were amongst the most delicious so far.
Staff were friendly and when we returned the next day they remembered one of us doesn't eat pork...

The White Lotus is convenient to several hotels, but beyond that there are better choices available. We had the spring rolls, crab fried rolls, green papaya salad and crispy wonton. The food seemed very plain, perhaps more cultivated to western tastes. Most items seemed ordinary in comparison to other restaurants we tried, and a little more expensive, but still reasonable,...

That said, I think your score of 2 is pretty brutal for the perceived minor gastronomic misdemeanour.
Our food is not regarded generally as being bland and is...

I dined at White Lotus several times during my recent stay in Hoi An. I was part of a large group (23) and we were all treated to exceptional service, high quality food and such good value for money!
Aside from the 2 group dinners, we also participated in the cooking school and were all delighted at the friendliness of...

The White Lotus Restaurant is opposite the Ha An Hotel so on quite a busy street. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and we sat out the front, waitresses quickly put a fan on and they were very friendly and attentive. Ordered the steamed spring rolls, for starters, personally I thought they were quite bland. BBQ ribs and vegetables...

We just completed a cooking glass with Tam (a most skilled and charming chef) and experienced the best Vietnamese food I have ever tasted. We have done the best restaurants in Saigon and Hoi an and against tough opposition we think the white Lotus is the best thus far. Staff are very attentive and friendly Cooking class is a must.....
Would definitely recommend this restaurant we visited for lunch and loved having a selection of dishes which were all very tasty. We had spring rolls, crispy wonton with a gorgeous sauce and crispy calamari. All the food was beautifully presented and the staff were friendly. The restaurant was clean.
We are a group of 9--2 families with 4 adults and 5 kids from 6 to 11 years old. Most places in hoi an don't offer kids reduced prices for cooking classes but the owner of this restaurant set a fair price. After reading the reviews we decided to give it a try and were very glad we did!
