I was not impressed with their entrees but they have amazing appetizers! Its clean and very beautiful inside, I just didn't prefer their food.

The best Italian food north of the Capital District region in NY State, Russo's is a family atmosphere, noting fancy, just great food in a warm and welcoming environment. Their bread is from a local baker, and comes pre-buttered. Where else can you get that kind of service? The entrees range from simple Italian dishes to specials for special occasions... More

My husband and I were in Scotia, NY shopping at Aunt Katie's Consignment an since we aren't from the area we asked the lovely cashier to recommend a restaurant. She quickly suggested Russo's. I had briefly checked TripAdvisor for suggestions and did read the reviews on Russo's. I have to say, when I read the reviews I wasn't sold. When... More

Russo's serves satisfying, tasty Italian food, I had the stuffed shells, which were good-sized and full of cheese. The sauce was very nice. My husband had a sausage and cheese sandwich on lovely Italian bread. It was delicious, and so big he had half of it the next day. Service was friendly and prompt.

Many people love this little Italian place that's been around forever, it seems. My problem with it is that I think it's way overpriced and overrated. The last (and only recent) time I was there, I ordered a Lobster Mac 'n Cheese special. It came with very little lobster and they didn't even serve a salad or anything else with... More

Ok so I have been going to Russos my entire life, it is one of my families favorite places to go to eat. I have gone there probably 4 times recently and I don't know what is going on but they do not know how to properly use garlic. I keep going back hoping that it has changed but still... More

For a unique pizza (sauce on top) you have to stop here! Not just a "pizza place", they have all of the Italian staples like eggplant and chicken parm, pasta with meatballs, lasagna, etc. Their specials are Always worth trying. The Russo's rebuilt after being flooded when Irene hit in August 2011, and they need a great job keeping the... More
