Tong Juan is supposed to be very famous for the stuffed crabs but it tasted very average to me. The meat does not taste much of crab either. At RM7.50 per crab, I would much rather eat something else.

Was good last year, but this time.....
Stuffed crabs taste has gone down, one suspects due to burgeoning clientele?
This establishment is now a one-time only restaurant - if u've never been there, do go & try,... but u'll probably never return, thinking "How in the bejesus did everyone ask me to dine here? Do they have any tastebuds at...

I've tried the stuffed crab in a few restaurants around here and they served the best stuffed crab! The fillings have the crab sweet taste. I even bought some home (to KL) for my parents to try. But then I ordered a plate of deep fried butter squid (nai yao sotong) and I was disappointed! The squid came out soggy...

I been here for years.. Came back my dad's home town and always visited this restaurant. Very nice place.. Stuffed crab are the best here!
Tasty local cuisine with a little high price especially for tourist. Try the stuff crab and prawn. Worth to visit.
We tried the stuffed crabs again but the price has gone up to RM8 from RM7 two years ago and the quality was low. The sambal sotong was good as was the seaweed soup. Minutes before this, we went into the village of Kuala Kemaman and had 10 pieces of Satar and Otak2 (fish wrapped in banana leaves) from the...

On a recommendation from a friend, tried the stuffed crabs here. It was delicious, albeit you gotta pour a bit of the chilli sauce to the fillings, to enhance the flavour. Stuffed crabs are priced at RM8 per crab. 1 pax should be able to consume 2 crabs. Overall, a really interesting food outing at this restaurant...
Not bad but not quite healthy. My colleagues enjoyed the dishes though. Very oily dishes. Specialty are stuffed crabs and garlic prawns. Not quite on my recommendation list.
The food tasted average but prices was ok. The specialty of the house was stuffed crab. The stuffed crab has plenty of crab meat stuffing but it was bland. Probably need a special chilli dip to go with it.
