We wanted to eat at the reastaurant, the waiter could speak english so we really strugled to communicate! The food on the menu was limited, we had some drinks. we decided to rather go tp East side. when we paid they charged us more for the drinks than it say on the menu
We stayed at the belle mare Constance hotel in September 2012. the hotel is great, but expensive. it is only a short walk to Symons and we returned several times. the cocktails are good, and 1/3rd of the price of the hotel ones. The food is good for a quick snack at lunch (we liked the crispy chicken with dips)....

Stopped at Symons whilst out cycling, cant believe some of the reviews, either very good or very bad, We found this place to to very average, food passable ,drinks ice cold(which is why we stopped) and the staff okay, lots of people from nearby hotels stop there for lunch. if in the area will stop there again for a drink

We were staying at the Belle Mare Plage hotel and rather that pay the extortuionate prices for the hotel food (£12 for a bowl of soup, £16 for a steak sandwich), we ventured out and discovered Symons....
