Clean place. Good food. Affordable. Maybe I expected too much knowing that this was Anthony Bourdain's pick for the "best pig ever"..but it was just okay.
This morning, my friend and I went to Zubuchon's Banilad Town Center to purchase some boneless belly only to know delivery will be at around 10:30 yet. We opted to leave the place rather than wait for hours. We instead went to Zubuchon's Escario Central branch just to find out they are already sold out. Dismayed, we just tried their... More
We visited the branch in Mango Avenue since it is very close to our hotel. I was so excited to try this restaurant since it has tripadvisor's seal of excellence. Indeed, the lechon was delectable and the kamias shake compliments it. We ordered the lechon and eggplant salad/ensalada for lunch. Our visit was almost perfect if not for the eggplant... More
I visited the branch of this restaurant at "The Walk" in the IT district but I understand there are several others in Cebu. It is good value, tasty and no nonsense food served quickly. No atmosphere and the decor is basic but people clearly come here for the quality of the food rather than an ambiance.
We tried the LapuLapu Zubochon. We specifically got a taxi from our hotel to try it based on our chef's recommendations. The restaurant had a cafeteria/fastfood feel about it even though it was quite small. There were a few empty tables though most were taken at lunchtime. We ordered 1/2 kilo lechon which was more than enough for the two... More
4 days in cebu and I don't want to missed out the zubuchon. From snack to dinner means 3:30 to 7:30 dinning. we just want to enjoy cebu lechon as overseas we don't have it! We enjoyed the food and we are coming back again. Excellent service!
Place and location are always what Zubuchon has and others dont. They have a wide selection of food but speaking about their lechon, its not what we Cebuanos grew up with. They serve pre chopped portions from different areas of the pig which means they are systematic but it means that you get also more undesirable parts of the pig... More
The service at Zubuchon was top notch, with the waiter being very friendly and patient, going through the menu and recommending us dishes (it was our first time there!). The food however, was overrated. The Lechon is basically pork, and certain pieces were quite tough. Of course, lechon that comes with a bit of fats tasted better, but that’s not... More
During our trip to Cebu, we were very eager to try the restaurant and to our amazament, it gave us an awesome dining experience. The food was really great, not to mention the mouthwatering pritchon. Also their service was excellent. Thumbs up for the waiter who really was providing great service with initiative and finesse. Highly recommended!!!!
Zubuchon has a lot of food choices, a huge percentage of it is accompanied by lechon toppings. The meat contains no preservatives, and spices have been mixed to make the meal experience very enjoyable. Their best seller juice - Kamias juice - is a novelty to the taste, a combination of sweet and sour all in one gulp. The staff... More
