Went due to gushing lonely planet prose. Nothing but westerners eating there in Nov. 2012. Dishes that arrived had no resemblance to photos or menu descriptions. Yi Yuan restaurant was a good one till it changed hands some time in 2010. So fellow travellers, please go elsewhere for the food. McFound (some four of them) or Chunji (some six of them) are good names to trust.

I only have twice dinning at this branch which a tourist restaurant at Nanhuan Lu. I thought they featured Sichuan cuisine, but food served is afar from that. Following Frommer's advice we went to this restaurant and were very disappointed. Service was very slow and half of the dishes we ordered never came, which was actually good, because the other half tasted lousy. Toilets were dirty, lots of noise from roadside traffic.
