Popped in on a very hot lunchtime. Had a chicken and bacon burger which come with chips. The burger was good but nothing special. What surprised us was how bad the fried rice with BBQ port was. My son and i took a day off from touring and ate here. Pumpkin soup good. Tuna salad very good. He finished his pizza and i did same with veggie fried rice. Good drinks. Mellow oasis. Go.

The place is situated next to one of the lakes in Guilin. It was a nice place to come during the evening to chill and to relax after a long day sightseeing and taking in the great sights of Guilin. They also had a good selection of western (and chinese) food and drinks on offer.

Nice spot for breakfast next to the lake and you can get the excellent Guilin tourist map from here and do the half day walk around the various lakes and river side - very pleasant and free of charge! I found Cafe Nissi is a great place to unwind and relax as it's lacated at one of Guilin's most scenic and tranquil locations. The staff were also happy to accommodate my requests, I personally like the breakfasts, the home baked breads, and especially the dips and the Bananna smoothies.

Big thumbs up for the brownies, sometimes they make bagels and a lovely place for a cup of coffee on an afternoon walk around the 4 rivers 2 lakes. I think there is better for main meals. Reasonable quality Western breakfast, expensive by Chinese standards, ONLY if the owner is on site. The girls (family?) are slapdash with a couldn't care attitude and the food is poorer. Closed all day on Sunday.
