Had a lunch buffet here as part of a company-organised function. I would say I sampled most of the cuisine the menu had to offer. The supervisor was attentive enough to make sure we found our designated seats and our drinks served. They were also able to communicate well enough to our international guests with their needs. The service met... More

On the face of it Shook looks pretty cool and trendy, red escallators lead you down to the array of dining venues in the StarHill shopping mall, that links a number of hotels together. The shops all look very smart and I am sure could do damage to most hip pockets! We went along with a good sense of excitement,... More

I have been to Shook a number of times including 3 visits in the past two months. Yesterday, we went again and I had to say it was the worst experience. First, I asked the waitress for advice on what to chose between two Cabernets but she suggested a much more expensive Shiraz instead. She was also trying to push... More

Whenever I am in KL, I always make a point to eat at this restaurant. Its open kitchen concept offers cuisines from the west and east e.g. Italian, French, Japanese, Chinese, etc. The list of choices in the menu can be mind-boggling especially for first timers. As a regular, I find the menu needs updating, as i see the same... More

Fantastic venue with good customer service relations. Prices are quite high though but customers seem to be paying for the ambience, the location and the brand, too. After all, it depends on what are my expectations from my visit to this restaurant. My husband prefers an ample selection of menu to choose from with good portion of food and a... More

If you are looking for a classy and quality “food court”, you will find it here in Bukit Bintang area! This is an above average pricey “food court”! Of course quality always comes with costs. Food Court may sound a little down grading the place but they do serve like food court because they have variety of open concept kitchen... More

I agree the price here is over priced.By looking at the ambiance and where they are located inside Star Hill. You are paying for the brand, nothing else. The menu has limited choice and every each is over priced, too pricey even for bottled water.the amount of money you spend here you could spend it at some Michelin star instead. It is also famous because... Was attending a seminar for the course of two days in JW Marriott. Lunch was held at Shook! with access to the buffet spread. The overall spread is pretty good with variety of food served. It's not the best buffet in town - but with the amount of spread available - it's a good tasting experience. The only caveat is... More

Great menu choice - open kitchen concept - Chinese Wok, Malay, Japanese, Italian & Western Grill. Steaks & fish are very good - overall quite expensive but you are sitting in the open basement of Starhill Mall which hosts a variety of leading luxury brands. The basement area is designed as a 'food village' of which Shook takes the prominent... More
