We ate there March 29, 2012. The Beef Wellington sliders were ok, but 2 for $12 was pricey in my opinion. The house charcuterie plate was ok, we both liked the rabbit confit, the pork belly rillettes we so so and the shaved duck ham was very smoky flavored. I had the spinach and frisee salad with grilled pancetta which... More

We had the pleasure of enjoying a fabulous meal while staying at the Winchester Inn earlier this month. My tenderloin was perfectly cooked and the smoked lobster bisque was sensational. The wine list has a great selection at all price points and sommelier Drew really knew his stuff.

We were in Ashland for our anniversary and wanted to go somewhere 'special' for dinner. Our anniversary, however, was on Feb 14th and just about everyplace in town was booked. The concierge at our hotel told us this restaurant, in the Winchester Inn, was having their grand re-opening that night (after being closed for a while and changing out their... More

We had a very good dining experience at the Winchester Inn's newly renamed Alchemy Restaurant last night before heading to OSF for a delightful opening of "My Fair Lady". We shared a perfectly prepared Scallop first course and our friends shared a dinner salad. All was paired with a fine half bottle of Sancerre. My Filet Mignon and her Lobster... More

This restaurant is a great place for a special night out. I did not expect to find such a nice restaurant located on a side street one block up from Main Street in downtown Ashland. We were just looking for a place to eat but saw the good reviews in Trip Advisor and since it was in walking distance thought... More

This used to be our favorite place to go with our friends. We went often to their wine bar and often to eat in their dining room, front porch, and garden. However, things have changed. Now we go only very rarely and only if someone else suggests it. The manager has just not very nice to us, and the food... More

The "Lambburger" was awesome, my wife's "Little Wellingtons" were perfect, the ambience "Edwardian Chique", the service attentive, knowlegeable and fast. A wedding photo session was underway in the garden, providing great entertainment from our window table in the bistro. Found a delightful Sancerre at a great price. Happiness rules! A great dinner in Ashland.

We had an excellent meal here before the theater. It's an Inn as well, so it's in a charming building.

We chose this restaurant because of the awards it had gotten from Wine Spectator, and we believed we would be getting a spectacular dinner with incredible wine, a highlight of our trip. Unfortunately, the restaurant underperforms. The positive aspect of it was that we had a very tasty scallop entree that was very enjoyable -- beautifully prepared and presented. However,... More

I had the beef Wellington appetizer as an entree and my husband had the sweetbreads, both were excellent. The Oregon "Bone Dry" Reisling was the best Reisling we have had outside Germany. The Creme Brulee was very good too. Definitley recommend eating here.
