I spent $25 for an overpriced club sandwich and a drink. I've had better 3 dollar club sandwiches. For $10 more I could have had a big steak at a nicer restaurant.

Gourdough's is out of this world! Every donut I've had is unbelievably delicious. I especially love the Miss Shortcake. The frosting is beyond description - honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted. I'd caution you, though: SPLIT WITH A FRIEND! The first time I went with the hubs we each got our own... ooh, boy. I felt absolutely... More

I have heard about this truck for a long time, and went conservative on my first visit and ordered Mama's Cake. I wanted to try something crazy with bacon on it, but we just finished off dinner at another truck down the road. It was so yummy. I can't wait to go back and try others! You gotta try this... More

I am not a dessert person and I had the maple and bacon frying pig from the truck at the pecan street festival. I was huge and fresh, it did take about 15 minutes as they are fresh to order. It was unbelievable, they use decent bacan and the texture and frosting were a perfect flavor blend.

These donuts were amazing, pretty much the highlight of Austin. I went with a pretty large group and we all sampled each other's order. We ordered Black Out, The Carney, Razzle Dazzle, Granny's Pie, and Heavenly Hash. They were all delicious, very rich. We ate here for lunch and one was plenty to split between two people. The atmosphere was... More

Yes these donuts are way pricier than most, but they're more of a dessert and in that respect they are cheaper. I tried the flying pig and blue balls and they were both just fantastic. My friends got the heavenly hash and a couple of others and were pleased with theirs as well. There are several more that I want... More

I ordered the flying pig, maple frosting and bacon, it was absolutely perfect and totally worth waiting in the long line. My son had the black out and the hubby had the Amy's joy. Mine was superior! Do not miss Gourdoughs when in Austin.

I will call this more of a desert place than donut place. The donut serves as a cake-type base on which they load up various toppings etc. that you can select from a wide selection. The end result is quite delicious. We ended up taking something with carmel and chocolate. The kids had a blast for sure. Worth a try.

You can't call them doughnuts, that doesn't come close to how yummy they are! Shared the funky monkey and Miss Shortcake. Definitely worth the stop!

I went to Gourdough's on south 1st the other day and the girl behind the counter was very rude and did not even bother to put down her cell phone when she took my order. My little boy even picked up on her rudeness and he could not even see through the window. The doughnuts were ok but way to... More
