We went on a Wednesday around 5 so the wait wasn't horrible. By the time we left people were lining up outside. It's interesting how they give you a seat number before you order and then you find your seat and they bring you your food. The burgers were very fresh. The waitstaff were friendly and helpful. We sat outside...

A must in Austin! The wait can be long, but it is worth it. We went for a late lunch during the week, and there wasnt as much of a wait as peak hours. The burgers are anywhere from basic to fancy. We chose this place because the rental car guy had a picture of his burger on his phone;...

Yes, you will have to wait in line at HopDoddy. There's a reason for this. Their food is out of this world! I've tried several of their burgers and have not been disappointed. Everything is fresh and of great quality.
Go at non rush hours if you don't want to wait (as long). If you do have to wait, order...

Get ready to wait. While this is the trendy SOCO burger place, and the Long wait proves it, it was a good burger. Great, no. Good, yes. Would I come again and endure the wait, no. Fries were good. Try the green chili queso.
Great burgers...great beers...great margaritas...great fries. I would come back. I sat at the counter (this is full service, first come first serve, better then standing in line) and it was great. Ate the turkey burger – it was flavorful and juicy - I would recommend this to everyone. The fries were hot, crisp and had a nice salty finish. Also...

Austin was the 2nd stop on our road trip and our first meal there was at Hopdoddys. They have a pretty cool system here, if you just want a burger you queue, but if you want beers there is a separate bar, works really well and keeps things quick, especially if it's busy so you can have a beer while...

My son took me and my fiance' to Hopdoddy's in Austin. He had warned us that there would be a long line, so we agreed to meet at 5'ish on a Sunday evening. We arrived early and had much fun strolling along South Congress taking pics of old cars and harley bikers. Yes the line is long. If you are...

Don't know that I would wait a second time for so long for a burger though it was tasty! It was OK, a bit noisy and chaotic for me. While I didn't partake, they seemed to have a nice beer selection.
This is a must when in Austin. Local, freshly prepared ingredients and you can taste it. They even bake their buns fresh daily. Fully stocked bar with anything you could ask for, non-alcoholic or not. Be sure to get a shake as well.
