5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 June 2013 NEW

We showed up on a Saturday around 1ish and there was a bit of a wait (a little over an hour) but it was worth it. The pizza was terrific - we got the pepperoni and mushroom special. My friends and I waited in the back patio area and drank a pitcher of beer while we waited for a table.... More

The pizza is very good. Not to die for but better then your well known chain pizza places. It was $17 for a large pepperoni pizza and felt it was a bit over priced.

Typical SoCo vibe...eclectic, etc. The pizza is pretty good. My wife and daughter loved it. I just thought is was good. Be prepared to have trouble getting a seat during the rush hours.

I have eaten here twice and loved it both times. The first time was October 2012. I love pizza and this is the best pizza I have ever eaten!

We finally made it to Home Slice. Everyone always says they have the best pizza. We couldn't agree more. We ordered the margherita and pepperoni single slices, ceasar salad, and the italian sub. We couldn't finish everything, but we sure tried! Neither my boyfriend or I cared for the ceasar salad dressing, but everything else was fantastic. The pizza was... More

Home Slice is Austin's most touristy, and also amongst the most tasty of pizza joints. It's not the best, in my opinion, but my mouth and my wallet have never had a bad experience at Home Slice. I'll definitely be back, but it probably won't be until my parents are in town and want to "see Austin."

Austin has too many people and thousands of restaurants. It was graduation weekend in Austin though, so expected to be slammed. It was. A pizza joint and a hour and ten minute wait stated as we went in. Went out back and milked a pitcher for the first 40 min. Eventually were seated and had two medium pies. Real good.... More

Excellent thin crust pizza and fun to watch the guys spinning the dough and making the pizza's. I had the eggplant special the day we visited -- very tasty!

The very best thin crust pizza crust found in Austin. We always order extra cheese, not covered up in sauce. Always busy. You can wait for the seats at the bar to open up on a first come from serve basis.

This place serves fantastic pizzas both to eat in or take out. It is very busy at all times of the day and evening. I would recommend sitting out at the back which does have some shelter when the sun is hot. There is a great selection of pizzas including several choices for vegetarians. The pizzas are huge compared to the... More
