Historic building with lots of antiquities hanging from walls and ceilings. Live Brazilian music playing all the time by different bands; and apparently, the later you stay, the better the music gets. This place has a mix of highs and lows. It is an incredible place. Furniture in the ceiling, all kind of old stuff an incredible decoration with parts of an old Pharmacy. Toys hanging on the wall, an amazing collection of old things. Live music, good caipirinha and a lot of people dancing.

Very often, this bar-restaurant has very nice brazilian bands and solo musicians. The meal is fair, tipically with snacks and drinks like caipirinha and others. Deserves a visit although it can be very busy on fridays/saturdays.

If you are looking for a fun night out this is it. We went for drinks, there was live music, loads of people and great atmosphere. About 10-15 mins from Copacabana

An interesting nightclub in the Lapa district. It has a very good and energetic live band playing Samba music. There are two show times per evening, one at 8:30 and the other at 11:00. The show was approximately $R25 ($A13). Great night dancing or watching the talented local dancers. The service was excellent.
