hate the wait, but always fun once you're seated. quite a scene and sushi is yummy! good for groups of 4-6 since it's a party scene.
Service was very slow. Quality of sushi was so meh. The overall experience was such a disappointment. I fail to see why this place has any recurring customers. Instead of going here, go to Beinke in Ipanema and then take a short walk to the happening bar area nearby. You'll save loads of cash and have a significantly better time.
I wish I would have read "Chiucharlen's" review before my boyfriend and I decided to go to this obscenely over-rated rip-off; She couldn't have been more on point. The only way that I would have thought the sushi was even anywhere close to 'good' was if I'd never eaten sushi before. Want to know how they make their dishes spicy... More
I have been to this place many times - the sashmi is always very fresh and I love the won tons here too. However, the service is always a bit slow especially with drinks and sometimes bring the wrong drinks. I would expect a better service for the price that you pay.
If you want to have a quality escape from meat menu - this is the place! Most of the crowd are locals living nearby. Be prepared to spend- this is the area if the city. Great service, sashimis, sushis etc. some Japanese beers are available too, so are a few types of sake.
This restaurant is in a very nice part of town, full of restaurants and nice bars, you'll need a reservation and provide a credit card for it. The food´s quality is extremely high, few japanese places have this level of catch. GO there you wont be disappointed, it about 60$ US per person, with no alcohol involved.
I live just next to Sushi Leblon and it would be so convenient to have a decent sushi place just steps away from home. After seeing the place packed with customers waiting outside and the arrogant hostesses gatekeeping the entrance every night, I had mixed feelings but decided to try it a try. To sum up, I would never go... More
Not cheap but truly excellent sushi and groovy interior. Would definitely eat here again. Good selection of very high quality sushi and sashimi, good service. We sat on the small outside terrace at lunchtime. Loved it.
For me this was the best experience in Rio. We went here 3 times during our stay. It's not very cheap but not that expensive either. 12 reais for a caipi (around 4 euro) is not expensive for a place like this. We paid around 120 reais a person (incl service) and we had more then enough. The tuna with... More
We paid more than 350 reis for 2 people and left hungry. Some of the food was very good and out of the ordinary and some was really blend: boiled shrimp with rice and sauce on the side for 72 reis presented as a special dish! The service was terrible, they forgot my appetizer so I watched my husband eat... More
