Very good beef, but nearby Rodeio is much better - in terms of different cuts, choice and quality of the non-beef items, service, and value.
Incredible and memorable steak; service exceptional and atmosphere and decor applicable for location. Damn expensive. If it has to be right every time, this is the restaurant - if you are willing to risk getting it wrong occasionally there are wonderful alternative restaurants within easy walking that are half the cost.
The food is very good, however, the price is too high. It is over the expectation. There many others with the same quality for half of your money.
The price does not justify the service or quality of food. I ordered a grilled chicken with vegetables, and charged me about $ 50, only for this plate, a total nonsense. The place is nice, good service, although they constantly pressure you. At no time in my food I felt comfortable. Surely not come back and do not recommend it.
There are many top churrascarias in São Paulo. Maybe the only one that matches Rubayat is Rodeio. But, Rubayat has the "home feeling", it is very, very well served, but it keeps a more "natural" approach to its customers (like me, who go there whenever I have the chance). Try both.
I visited this restaurant back in October 2005 and still remember the excellent dinner I had. The selection of meats was incredible. You cannot go wrong with baby beef! This establishment represents all the tasty things you will get in South America. The area is pretty happening, located near Avenida Paulista in Jardims. Its is expensive, but worth the money.
This place offered one of the best meals I had in Sao Paulo. I was with a group and we each ordered different dishes and shared samples. None of the dishes disappointed.
A friend of mine and his wife, who are global travellers, classify this restaurant as the best of the world! Although their specialty is (excellent) beef, you can't miss their "pão de queijo", which is served hot as a starter (couvert).
I would highly recommend this place. The service is very classy and attentive, yet the atmosphere is casual and the food is great. No downside unless you are very price sensitive.
