very good non vegetarian food. the amritsari fish fried is very good but what is exceptional is the tandoori chicken, the best i have tasted till now. the tawa chicken with roti is worth a try........the high pricing is offset with the owners excellant behaviour

Food the very good. I suggest you all one time visit this place you will like the food. Owner of this restaurant is quite nice person.

The restaurant is located in a good place and is neat and clean. Also the none vegetarian fare is quite good. Tandoori chicken and fish tikka were real good (though a bit overly priced if you compare with other restaurants serving similar fare). The owner engages in conversation and recommends the special dishes of his restaurants. He has a collection... More

We were recommended this place and it did not let us down. The owner was very nice and it seems a lot of famous people have also visited the establishment. We just had starters as we were going to eat again later and ordered a half chicken, amritsari fish, mutton tikka, malai tikka and paneer. The food was amazing, so... More

The tandoori chicken that I had here is one of the best I have had so far, not to be missed if u are visiting amritsar and u will not regret the experience. The fish was also good and also the lassi, but nothing tasted as good as the chicken. The service and decor are average, but the owner is... More

My whole trip to Amrisar, the best tandoori chicken I ate here. The quantity is less & price is about Rs.275/- (dont remember exactly) half chicken serves 1.

Sumptuous Tandoori chicken and mutton kebabs were the highlights as also fish amritsari. Gulab jamun was heavenly. Service was a bit untidy but overall very good.

It's a small place tucked away on Lawrence road that has no great ambience but packs a punch in terms of flavor. Best tandoori chicken I have ever tasted, in fact all the food was hot and tasty. We ordered the fish tikka and mutton tikka which were fresh and melt in your mouth. The stuffed parathas are huge and... More

I have been visiting Surjit since its earliest days. It is centrally and conveniently located just off Lawrence Road near the Novelty Chowk. It has a decent place to sit--- something which is missing in many of the non-vegetarian joints in Amritsar. That said, the ambience is just like a basic dhaba in Punjab and not that of a restaurant.... More
