Everytime I visit Amritsar, Virsa is always on my list. Great Ambience and awesome food. Even if I go there for couple of hours, I always make sure that I atleast eat once at Virsa. The food in Virsa is just awesome!!!!!

Authentic Amritsar Food, we ordered Special Amritsari "Culche" it was served with "Chole". The food was excellent. Highly recommended. Tip: Do not order south Indian food or any thing else except the "Punjabi" food at the place for a true Amritsari experience.

The place has potential and definitely a labour of love. But experientially a lot seems missing. The manufactured dry well, the unhealthy dirty colts, the fidgety lovebirds and the private boozers segregated in multiple pools do not inspire comfort in an otherwise place of cultural kitch.

Are you sure you reviewed for the correct place?? We don't have a "Dry well", and what are the "unhealthy dirty colts" that you mentioned?? As for the "private boozers", alcohol is neither served or permitted as per law.... I would request you to please review your 'review' as there are many other restaurants in the area. Regards More

During our week long stay in Northern India, we thought that we had enough of typical punjabi food i.e. Kulche 'n' Parathen etc. So we resolved to have some different food like South Indian food. In Amritsar, there are not many eateries offering south Indian delicacies. But we were lucky to find Restaurant Virsa where we ful-filled the urge of... More

Absolutely loved this place. It's great for foreigners and families looking for a nice meal and clean sit down and eat in place after traipsing through the stores on Main street. It is a vegetarian restaurant and one I will go back to. Our friends cousin recommended we lunch here after having just visited the Temple and I cannot fault... More
