We went to the Panorama Restaurant for a late lunch, staying there until just after sunset. We chose it as a result of the many positive reviews on this site. Reaching the restaurant posed no problem because we had come to Ko Lanta by car. It's about a 10-minute drive south of Old Town.

This restaurant is on the eastern side of Koh Lanta not far from the end of the road and the Sea Gypsy village at the south end of the island. The Thai food was fresh and delicious and the view was terrific. Highly recommended.
We just stopped here to have a coffee and a cake to enjoy the nice view. Oppisite to it there is a island which they call Homer Simpson Island.
The owner Jack is so friendly and the coffee beans are from his sister from Chiang Mai. Also the bathroom is very clean. I never so a bathroom that clean in...

We had a quick stop here for a drink and a snack - the staff/owner were very friendly and we enjoyed the time we spent here.
As pretty much everybody who has been there I found this restaurant totally by chance and I was so happily surprised to finally be at a place where you can really relax and feel good, away from the tourist crowds on the islands west coast. The atmosphere was right from the first moment and as I looked around I saw...

You'll need a scooter to access Jack's Panorama- all part of the experience. Fantastic fresh fruit shakes and amazing fresh fish, all very very reasonable. The place is very eco-friendly, white painted drift wood is all eco paint- very impressive! Unbeatable view too and you can climb down to an exclusive spot on the water's edge. Jack was interested in...

Stumbled upon this place completely by chance. Was exploring the island by motorbike when we decided to visit the South Western part of Ko Lanta. When we first passed the restaurant, we saw a man come out to wave, but decided to explore it later. When we turned back, the boyfriend decided to stop by for a coffee and to...
