I've eaten at pranee's quite a few times now and I'm never disappointed with the food or the prices. On Koh Tao even some of the most basic dishes cost 30-80b more than what you'd pay anywhere else. The food was excellent - we went to dinner here a few times and it was consistently top notch!! The prices were extremely good, considering the quality and quantity of food. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Pranee's is a busy thai style restaurant just metres from the beach. It serves a large menu of thai style dishes that are not usually too spicy for the western palette. The food here is very good, but the service can be slow and sometimes lack a smile or two, bare with them, the food is worth it.

Great little family owned joint in Mae Head. The service can be slow at times, but the food quality and price make up for it. It was my favorite cheap eats place on the island.

Great food, best prices on the Island. You can eat here everyday if you're on a tight budget. Authentic, quick and very tasty. Don't let the disinterested waiting staff put you off. They serve quickly albeit unfriendly. tip: curries are very saucy but superb, order enough rice.
