It's English-ness is quirky and quaint and you could easily imagine yourself in an English guesthouse (even down to the rain outside!) We had Sunday lunch which was well presented and tasty. Service was friendly and prompt and we received all our meals at the same time (which doesn't always happen in Malaysia!) The decor looks a little tired -... More

We stop by the place on our way back from Cameron. The place and the garden were beautifully decorated and have the feel of a classic english house. The Manager on duty was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Food was a bit pricey, but maybe due to the high maintenance and management cost of that place. Lots... More

Great food, service & atmosphere. A bit pricy, but worth it The only improvement we can think of is that the waiters could stand back a bit further from tables to allow diners to chat privately. They hover or helicopter a bit too close for comfort. The attention, in case diners need something, is excellent, but it feels a little... More

We visited this legendary hotel as a family trip. Checked in smoothly and all three rooms were in order except for the slight musty smell that could be due to the moist of the weather. Rooms are not equipped with tv, fridge and air conditioning which could be a problem when the weather gets warm. The resident manager is very... More

The food is really good, but the wait is extremely long. May be due to the crowd and also high peak time. The ambience is old english style. Price at high-end range, portion slightly large as well.

We came around 230pm for tea but was told we need to make reservation and so we did. Our teatime was scheduled at 5pm (?) but when we came all the tea rooms and table in the garden are still full with patrons. We had to wait for another half hour or so. It was a bit hectic as we... More

This place is ideal for garden lovers because its English garden boasts some biggest English roses you could find there at Fraser's Hill, begornias & camellias too. l simply adore its garden tea settings so l enjoyed a truly cuppa of my favorite English tea, Earl Grey & English scones surrounded by mist & flowers. Romantic & ideal for couples... More

I stayed at the Guinevere Suite for 2-nights. I loved the room from the moment I stepped in! It was bright and cheery and full of old English charm. There is a fireplace (although it was not working and we had a heater instead) and a comfy sofa where we spent lots of time curled up reading or enjoying a... More

I just came back from a 3 day 2 night stay at Smokehouse, Frasers Hill. When I arrived, me and my family were greeted by the friendly staff. The temperature was about 24 degrees and it gets colder in the mornings. The room that we got was the Alexander Suite. It was really nice with the view of the mountains.... More

Oke, it's not cheap, oke it's not new, but if you like great food, a great breakfast, rain, fog, a stunning view and a good night sleep! This defenitly your place. Friendly staff makes it all completes. The rooms are old and spacious but very comfortable, even good when you have to stay in because its too wet outside. A... More
