My husband and I were booked at nearby Kapas Island Resort which did not serve beer. So we decided to walk over to Captain's Longhouse to get some. Unfortunately, and contrary to what others in Tripadvisor reported, beer or any alcoholic beverage is not served anymore.

We chanced across this interesting and rustic joint at Kapas Island, its beach bar, friendly crew and lively dog "jane",,,its known as Capt's Longhouse or previously as "The Lighthouse" cas. of its location beside the island's lighthouse.
