Inspiring Indian. The most perfect setting. The room is an idyllic Italian inspired design with perfect restaurant appeal. Food was exceptional. Service perfect. Exquisite Indian food in a traditional Raj setting. Perfect.

We absolutely enjoyed our visit to this beautiful restaurant. Exceptional service (truly tops), romantic ambience (albeit a little formal, complete with Versace tableware; but I can imagine a great no. of proposals having taken place here!), great food. The only thing the staff didn't do for us was feed us!
I ate at Suvarna Mahal with a lot of hope! Alas, it was dashed.
The restaurant itself, in a fancy hotel, is a fabulous royal room, beautifully decorated. The ambience is terrific, though perhaps a bit like sitting in a theater to watch entertainment. Somewhat lacking in warmth, at least to this reviewer. But the service was excellent (and so...

After some good melas at other taj properties, we were extremely looking forward to our dining experience at the rambagh. Sorry to say, we were sadly disappointed. The tables at the far end of the room face either the swinging door into the kitchen or (if that doesn't suit you) a view of the waiter/ bus boy station. ..I'm all...

This is my pick of the best restaurant in India! The moment you set foot into this place it makes you a visiting kind and welcomes you to the palace dining hall! The staff is dressed to perfection and have an attitude that will blow you away and make you completely at home. The seating arrnagement, the carpet, ceiling and...

We had a few Taj gift vouchers which we thought of using to buy a birthday cake, our experience follows:
1. We were stopped for a security check, a non security hotel rep asked us why we'd come and where we were headed, we mentioned the cake shop, he asked us if we had ordered in advance and we said...

It was like a specialty restaurant. We especially liked the setting as the dining hall conjures up images of its fantastic past and the meals appear like a tribute to royalty. This extra ordinary restaurant is at hotel Rambagh Palace which is quite expensive too.
Wow what a place – This hotel was always our first choice to stay but felt the costs were simply too high to justify it. However we did visit for an evening meal and it was fantastic. The room itself used to be the dining room for the Maharaja and a lot of features are retained or have been replicated...

This restaurant is one of a number of restaurants within the Taj's Rambargh Palace, which has to be one of the most exceptionally restored and maintained hotels i've ever seen. We had a pre-dinner drink at the incredible Polo Bar with tented fabric ceiling and candlelit fountain. The room is exquisitely decorated with ornate chandeliers and giant internally-lit stone urns....

A Royal dining experience in every way. The room was magnificent, the staff attentive and the food divine.
