Really good nyonya food at an affordable price. The nyonya kuih, (local cake, desserts) and chendol was great too. Quality food. Skip other touristy looking restaurants and have your lunch and dinner here.

We decided to have dinner at Nancy's kitchen as we heard we could get good nyonya food there. The pongteh chicken and the sambal terung was quite nice. We also ordered the sambal petai udang and ikan gerang Assam. These were somewhat disappointing. The sambal petai was not bad, however the prawns did not taste good. The fish was on...

excellent food with a vast menu to choose from. Reasonable prices and authentic setting. A short walk to jonker street. Be patient as it is a very busy restaurtant and the staff have lots of orders to take. Arrive before 830 as the kitchen normally closes by 9pm. There is always a queue of customers wanting tables which is a...

Here is exactly what I was looking for in Melaka. All the regional classics done well. The dish cooked with the black nuts is an experience, the flavor is completely unique. All the dishes are executed well and the place is cozy and welcoming.
Well I don't really know what "authentic" Nonyan food should be but I bet its close here, its awesome flavours and combinations kept us ordering more and more food. My friend found this cafe so we gave it a try during lunchtime about 2pm. Queues were already forming outside. It wasn't really a big restaurant. Food wasn't really fantastic which I expected more as it was highly raved. We tried the kuehs which wasn't to my liking as well. Won't come back again.
Nancy is a bit on the peculiar side and enforces her closing hours strictly. However, her popiah were the best we ate in all of Malaysia.
Without doubt one of Melaccas top spots. Excellent menu, authentic dishes, great value, excellent service and not just for tourists with many regulars from the local community.
A long queue outside the restaurant before its opening hour. Though, the restaurant is one of the old Melaka house, the space inside are quite spacious with 2 levels. The dishes we tried are good and considered quite authentic. However, you might have to bear with limited services due to their constant crowds in the restaurants.
last week, 2 of us brought our relatives to visit Malaca and went to this place, had the following :
-- popiah ( so so )
-- egg cincalok ( above average)
-- ayam buah keluak (4 pieces of keluak) (so so)
-- prawn petai ( where were the prawn ?? just tiny shrimp and a few pieces of petai)...
