Just love to come back to this place, though it's pricey, and seat limited, the old owner somehow weird :) We over ordered, but we still love the food! My personal favourite must be the fried oyster noodles which is eaten with raw minced garlic and their special sambal. yum yum... !!

have read a lot of reviews but there's a few regular place that we always go to when we visit Melaka. This time, we decided to try, we were lucky to have seats with no reservations, were served by the owner - Teochew ah pek. He was delighted to learn that I'm teochew and was so happy that I can... Luckily my relative called before we went the restaurant. They are close on Monday. However, it did not disappoint us when we went for lunch the following day. Small establishment with long history. The boss was very friendly. He recommends what you should eat. If you want anything more, he will stop you from ordering. Oyster Mee was to die... More

It was my 2nd trip there. Small place right by the corner, cooking place at the front of the entrance, but don't let its look deceive you. In side, you'll be asked by an old Uncle to order your food at the front while he recommends the restaurant dishes. He's a very nice old Uncle. Once a while he comes... More

Small place with good food. However, the service is really bad. If you are looking for service and good food, there are plenty in Melaka. This is just good food but dissapointed to say that the server was rude. Expect to wait long... very long for your table and food. Parking is another big problem.

A 2 minutes walk from Jonker Walk is this famour teochew restaurant. It is advisable to make a reservation first before heading down as they are very popular and the area of the restaurant can fit < 10 tables. There's no menu in this restaurant. Head over the where all the raw food are, have a look and point whichever... More

Was walking along the streets looking for dinner when we smell delicious aroma coming from the outdoor kitchen facing the street. Was told they are full and not taking anymore customers for that evening. Made a booking for next day's lunch. Very old-school teochew restaurant. No menu, you just have to ask them to introduce what they have. Delicious food... More

We were lucky to walk into this restaurant without a booking about 7pm. Through the outdoor kitchen into the air conditioned interior to be greeted by the son of the owners (it is a family restaurant) who speaks fluent english He shows you what is available (there is no menu) in the chiller cabinet and the vegetables alongside. He is... More

This is a family style Chaozhou Restaurant with a limited menu. My visit here is one that I thoroughly enjoyed, not purely due to the food (though there better places), but this places gives a one-of-a-kind experience, that is rarely seen. This is more a cultural experience which is a bit hard to explain. Because of the limited menu, the... More

I need to make prior booking for dine in this restaurant. The steamed fish and yam paste dessert really cannot miss. The owner will always recommend their specialty to you, but the mango tasted ordinary. Not worth to buy! We ordered braised duck, steamed fish, fried spring roll, fried vegetables, yam paste and mango. For the bill of 6 persons cost... More
