Service is good with a normal choice of seafoods on menu. Oysters on half shell are very good without any grit. Hamburgers are tasty as well for non fish eaters.
I had eaten at a Steamers in Gulf Shores 15 years ago and had the best shrimp (Royal Reds) ever! I was looking forward to seeing if this was the same restaurant but at a different location. I went there for lunch on Sunday at around 11:30 am and was promptly seated. One may sit indoors or outside on the... More
A business friend recommended the grouper sandwich, which wasnt on the menu for some reason. Best seafood sandwich ive ever had. I went there twice that week to get it one more time while I was staying in gulf shores.
Great shrimp and stuffed shrimp. Slaw with creamy sauce, red potatoes cooked perfect and corn out of season but still good. Key lime pie one of the best I have had. Off season no waiting and attentive staff. Will be back!
My husband and I had the steamer meal and it was delicious. We both agree it was the best shrimp we have ever eaten. Our children enjoyed the Alaskan snow crab. Our waitress, Nicole, was terrific. We told her we had never tried raw oysters and she brought us some to try and showed us exactly how to eat them.... More
Enjoyed two visits to the Steamer. The staff was very friendly, the prices right in line, menu small enough to not stress out on choices but large enough to satisfy a variety of taste buds. The seafood is steamed, the crab cakes are OK and the kids cheeseburger looked HUGE. Granted, we went to enjoy watching football games in the... More
My husband and I ate here one night instead of going into Gulf Shores. This Steamer is better than the one in Gulf Shores. We were exhausted and didn't feel like going out but I hadn't had crab legs yet this trip. Service was better than any other restaurant we ate at. The food was amazing!!! The area The Steamer... More
l love taking family and friends from out of town here, food and service are always great. My husband always picks something from the land lovers menu. He says he doesn't like to work for his food, but I love pealing shrimp and breaking open crab legs. this is a must go to place.
I went to there with some of my seafood loving friends. I don't eat oysters, so I was happy to see a ribeye on the menu. I ordered it, not expecting much considering it's more of a seafood place. But when they brought that steak out, it was the best ribeye I've ever had! I ordered it well done and... More
