Praw cakes, sateh, asperagus with crab, stirfried clams and noodles. All was well prepared and very tasty. Chinese staff, as always, very friendly. If weather allows, eat in the garden outside.
Nice place for dinner. I just wrote a long resume but the stupid old school tripadvisor didnt get through cause it contains bad words but i didnt use a single bad word. happens all the time this day and now im tired of it. If Yelp had been an option in Shanghai i had use it instead!
Went there with a colleague. Reservation is necessary if you are there for a dinner. Luckily we had one. We had to wait beyond the reserved time and we got a seat near the bar. Not a very good place to sit and have dinner. But the food wad FABULOUS. The staff could not speak any english (except for the... More
Good thai restaurant with al fresco dining option. Please beware that the summer heat and humidity, even at night, combined with the spicy dishes will make you sweat. Good portions and reasonable prices considering the location. Staff make an effort to try to speak and understand English and to accomodate our Bu La (not spicy) requests.
Probably the best Thai food in Shanghai - with excellent service and the feel of being in Thailand with its (stereo)typical decor and the outdoor dining in the garden adds to the atmosphere. The food is pricey but it is made up by how delicious it tastes Two suggestions: 1). Definitely make a reservation 2). Go with a bunch of... More
If you were a visitor and had to choose one Thai restaurant in Shanghai this would be the place. Not only is the food great, but the atmosphere is simply amazing. Housed in an old European House with Thai decor and a great outdoor seating garden area with bamboo and red umbrellas, this restaurant is hugely popular and hard to... More
This was a restaurant I found for a customer I wished to impress, and it generally did the job. Service was a little spotty and the english skills of the staff were "uneven" to put it nicely. But our server, Lucy, did a fine job. The dishes were delicious and well-prepared. We dined outside, and never felt crowded or rushed... More
been once in coconut paradies restaurant and since tasted it once always looking for an oportunity to go back! very nice thai food and very cosy atmosphere! i suggest to make a reservation beforehand since it is very busy place! all in all highly recommended!!!!
This is a very small resto. No very famous, no so tasty, but expensive, very expensive. You can find better without problem. Sometimes it is good to know where we should be avoid to go.
Must have food: From the stuff we ordered I highly recommend Langan Chicken Curry (full of flavor and not medium spicy), pineapple rice, black sesame crab toast, golden prawn cake. All very yummy! Prices: For such a nice restaurant and tasty food we didn't pay much at all. We had a total of 506 Yuan (about 51 GBP) for main... More
