Just loved this place, obviously owner operated as the service was so personal, everybody including the Chinese and Italian staff spoke perfect English. Three of us dined the evening we attended, and all our dishes were perfect, the carbonara? finally a real carbonara, delish! The side salds were fresh and generous and the pricing was very reasonable, oh and best... More

I ordered a "set price" lunch that included salad and a glass of wine for $68 RMB. I ordered a second glass of wine and nobody told me that it would cost $78 RMB. So one glass of wine cost more than one glass of wine PLUS a salad? What is up with that? I liked the food. The location... More

This restaurant is on the 5th floor of a building on Taikang Lu, which is a famous area with bars, restaurants and art shops. Their pizza is really delicious. I tried many in Shanghai, i can say this is the best. Service is nice, everybody can speak & understand good english. They have set lunch with decent prices until 14:00... More

We went with my friends for the all you can eat pizza, the information are; * Every Monday. * Price is 108 RMB. * You do not choose the pizza, they are just done by the pizza master. * It is free flow until you ask them to stop. All in all, it was a pretty nice place to have... More

Finally I discovered where to eat the real italian pizza in Shanghai! Buffalo margherita should be a must when you eat at That's Amore. Cozy atmosphere, fresh food, home made pasta, and the meats...guys not even my mother knows how to make such a good shank veal!!!

Went there with a friend. Two of us were charged over 650 RMB for a pizza, a risotto, a starter, a tiramisu, 2 coffees and a glass of wine. That was very pricy for the quality. The pizza was not cooked enough, the cheese offered as an appetizer smelt terrible. We will not go there again. The only positive part... More

Just ordered Pizza from the restaurant delivered by Sherpas. The pizza was burned, had holes in it (hidden with basil), the dough was sour and the cheese smelled so bad I could not eat it. My hands even smelled from holding it. Worst pizza Magherita ever. I have ordred the same pizza in the restaurant before and it was decent... More

If you are looking for fresh fish with an italian taste, you should give it a try. I recommend you to try their desserts also. Pizza is above average. Clean but difficult to reach. The design is more greek than a real italian.

You need the local guide, to hit this place. The restaurant is hidden on the 5th floor in the not busy street. From the front, there is the bakery Mollica di Pane. The dingy elevator brings you to the nice and peaceful restaurant, with Italian owners, cook and menu. The food is authentic Italian, pizza is great and the atmosphere... More

don't loose That's Amore! if you need real italian food need to go in taikang road and from 1st to 5th floor you can discover a unique italian taste. Marvelous varieties of bread and pizza, incredible fish from sicily on the weekend, and the real italian heart by chef Andrea and the owners, the amazing Morano's Brothers.
