This amazing Alabama-based menu was a true culinary experience. All ingredients are State, home grown from the entrees to the beer! A young, vibrant waitstaff made our evening doubly enjoyable . We will return!

Epiphany is a local favorite. A great chef and waitstaff and creative food that emphasizes fresh, seasonal, and local veggies and meat. I particularly like things like sweetbreads that are seldom served these days. And best of all, the restaurant is not full of students!

We didn't expect to find such a creative chef in Tuscaloosa. Our table of 5 started with several shared small plates on a Saturday night. Fresh and organic are the big selling points on the menu. The setting is an old downtown building with mismatched tables and chairs with a long bar the length of the restaurant. Very eclectic and... More

We had high expectations after reading the reviews and although we enjoyed our meal it was not in the "fantastic" category for us. Pork lovers will undoubtedly be overjoyed because the menu is heavy with pork and even the butter that comes with the brown sugar white bread has had pork bits and fat mixed in through a rendering process.... I ate here with two friends last week and we all agreed it was a superlative dining experience. I wanted to have a light meal so I ordered the Local Vegetable Plate. It was tasty and healthy food, but not really light: pork roasted sweet potatoes, collards, creamed corn & Brussel sprouts. Abundant servings & very satisfying. One friend had... More

I was not looking forward to this meal. My husband found it on the internet, and like some restaurants that boast "local only" faire, It can sometimes translate to an over thought out menu, Was I ever wrong. I had the shrimp and grits, that was the most deeeeelicious thing I have ever eaten. The cream sauce was rich and... More

This is a fancy restaurant with fancy food items. This is not for families on a budget! This restaurant suits an adult taste. I recommend the sweet bread. It was cooked to perfection! Their wine list is short but very nice. I will go back again.
