Rice was crunchy. Beans were salty. Fried plantains were in a SOUP of syrup. Long wait and not good service. Chicken was good but I got a skimpy serving. This is like a Costa Rican Chili's minus the delicious food. Do not eat here!

The Lincoln Mall is brand new and has about 100 stores - shops, restaurants etc. There is a chain called Rosti Pollo that can be found all over San Jose. This one in the mall is very nice and reasonable. The seating has a nice view of the main road in , I think, Monrovia, the town where the mall...

We ate at Rosti Pollo because we were staying at the nearby Hampton Inn and it came highly reccoommended. We were not pleased at all. Service was slow, my soup was cold. It was like a n Olive Garden or TGI Fridays - not really what we had expected at all.

this restuarant that was still under construction or restoration, serves all kind of chicken and very delicious. My fajita was excellent along with salad and much avocado. My wife's roast chicken was perfect. Great and helpful service and ready to help. Looks like it may be a favorite family and local lunch place. All happy.
After several wonderful days spent at the Vistas Hermosa B&B, near Tambor, we overnighted at the Hampton Inn Hotel near San Jose Airport in Alajuela before heading. We decided to eat at the Rosti Pollo, nearby. It was a cool night and we were seated near the open bar-b-que fireplace, which really felt good and added to the charm of...

This was one of the best meals I enjoyed in Costa Rica. I was surprised by the great flavor. And the fried plantains were amazing.
This place was better but lately the service declined and also some plates. Specially if there is too much people at the restaurant, they looked like they couldn't manage it.
After 9 nights at Los Suenos resort, we spent our last night at the airport Holiday Inn Express to facilitate our early departure. We decided to eat at Rosti Pollo, the barbecued chicken place across the parking lot. The chicken was delicious. The mashed potato side was good; the salad was ok; the rice was dreadful. The price was right....

We liked this place. It was a good place to get grilled chicken before going back to hotel then airport.
Typical Costa Rican roasted chicken. The sides were good but, nothing special. Good food for the cost. Good for families with small children. The restaurant was clean the employees were pleasant and although many of them didn't speack English they were very patient with my Spanish and was very nice and tried their best to help answer my questions.,
