This place is to the L of the bus stop. We ordered a milk shake, a more juice (blackberry) a burger and fries and a casado lunch. We were full and happy and refreshed at teh end of the meal and it cost us 5100 colones. 1800 for the burger, 2000 for the casado. We put down $11 and walked... More

Went here for breakfast, typical tico food, quick and fast. Great service, good prices. Since we have been coming here over the last few weeks the owners are very friendly as well as the locals. Highly recommended.

A lot of food in town in Americana, which is sad because Tico food is AMAZING. This place offers local people and local food. Very reasonable pricing. No english spoken, but we were able to order with broken spanish. It's not fancy at all, but it's fun!!

Next to the bus station to the Parque Nacional Arenal, this little soda is a splendid surprise, offering the usual huge plates of "eggs+rice+whatever you can eat" at the usual low Costarica prices. If you are lucky, you will find the Totti looking guy who will make an uforgettable batido. Note: the day of our leaving, we had forgotten our... More

Stopped here on a recommendation from a local. The food was good, quick and priced just right. They have a mixed menu with lots of local food as well as hamburgers and sandwiches. We did not tried the hamburgers or sandwiches, but the local food was great.

This place is easy to miss. It's all outdoor, the staff didn't speak English, but it was very good food at very cheap prices. Lots of locals were there and the food came quickly. A good option for those staying at hotels with expensive restaurants!

We had been to the hanging bridges with a guide and we offered to take him to lunch. He suggested this soda, and said he eats there all the time. He said "It's the same food I would cook at home, only much better!"There were loads of locals when we went. The food was tasty and cheap and served quickly.... More

We ordered way too much food here because the prices were so low we thought the portions must be small, but that was not the case! It's your standard Costa Rican typical food (casados, sandwiches, tacos, etc.), but slightly better than other sodas we tried in the area, and by far the best prices we saw in the entire country!!... This place is tiny and it's not right in the square with a lot of the other restaurants (it's by the supermarket, next to the bus station), but the food here was the best comida typica we had on our vacation. The casado with chicken was great- best flavor we had tried. And their sides were fresher and were of... More

Ate here with family of 6. Food came up quickly and we were all served at about the same time (surprisingly, this was not the case in many places we ate). The food was pretty basic but very good (especially the shrimp with rice), and the prices were very reasonable. Good value for typical Costa Rican food.
