The staff seemed a bit preoccupied for an only half full restaurant. but the food was delicious -- we were in the mood to shift off of tipico Costa Rica food, so had hamburgers -- large, moist and tasty. The meal was inexpensive (by La Fortuna standards) too!

The place is 24/7, the special hamburger is BIG! and the strawberry and Mango milkshakes are delicious. It's not a fancy place at all so please keep that in mind. Prices are really afforable.

Our first true Costa Rican meal, and did not disappoint. Try one of the huge Casados. Good people watching opportunities too.

Authentic Italian menu in a pleasant casual atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating although many tour groups stop here which coud be bothersome.

What I like more of La Parada restaurant is the location. It is righ infront of the main park of La Fortuna. So if you ge a table close to the sidewalk its nice to see whats happening outside. The food is average quality and the price is average too.
