We stopped in and got a piece of vegan cake and a peanut butter cup to go. They were great and the price was fair. We liked it so much we stopped in on our way back to San Jose (they were out of peanut butter cups! bummer) It is right in town. The day before we rode our bikes... More

the best breakfast in town!! the coffee is strong and served in individual french presses. get there early on a weekend and make sure to get the vegetarian biscuits and mushroom gravy. the eggs are organic and the food is homemade. both the walnut and mint brownie are amazingly delicious! i also recommend the ginger lemonade and the jamaican jerk... As the owner of 2 B&B's in Central America I think I know a thing or two about breakfast service. Fodd here is great, the scrambled eggs were as fluffy as a pillow top mattress and the bagels were quite good. Only negative was the French press coffee ... Great idea in terms of presentation ... But when coffee is... More

We went in hungry and came out happy! My hubby enjoyed a big bowl of steaming oatmeal with fresh coffee and I gorged on creamy scrambled eggs with a real biscuit and homefries! The place is beautifully decorated with a wide variety of muffins, truffles, and cookies on display. We got oatmeal raisin and molasses ginger cookies for later -... More

Ok sandwich, fabulous dessert. Considering I just spent the morning boogie boarding in red-flag surf, I thought anything I ate would taste awesome. I'll try breakfast next time.

We ate twice here during our stay in PV area. I'll keep it simple......everything here is really great. I found the ginger lemonade to be particularly refreshing and enjoyable in the heat and humidity of the afternoon. Great sandwiches, great breakfasts, great coffee. Fabulous truffles with plenty of flavor choices. UNBELIEVABLE brownies. Very reasonably priced. Delicious coffee served in french... More

This was our go to breakfast/brunch place. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with a side of jerk sauce and waffles every time. They were AMAZING. We also got the brownie and carrot muffin to go and both were delicious. I would recommend this spot highly for breakfast or lunch!

I enjoyed the peanut butter and chocolate sandwich, as well as a dark chocolate and coconut truffle; my husband had the grilled cheese and the gazpacho. We were both impressed by the hearty portions and attempted to eat as much of the meal as we could, given the delightful flavors. Their dessert options are rich and there is something for... More

I arrived at Bread and Chocolate with some mighty high expectations based on the reviews. While it didn't disappoint I sure wasn't wowed. It is all right and I'd go back if I was in the area. I I had the ginger lemonade now I do have to say that stuff is brilliant! Loved the gingery after bite and it... More
