This was our first meal in Manuel Antonio and it was a good start. A small restaurant and a small kitchen but the chef cooked the fish to perfection. We started with tuna sashimi and prawn salad and then monkfish and red snapper. The desserts were good too. Friendly informative table service. If there is a negative it would be... More

The menu is limited. Interesting, that on the same 2 page menu you can get a tenderloin steak and also find a burrito! I would skip dinner and come for dessert. The tart is nice.

We visited Villas Nicolas on our first evening in Manuel Antonio for cocktails and dessert. We really enjoyed the delicious cocktails and also had the wonderful macadamia pie and an amazing banana dessert. Since we stayed here at Villas Nicolas and enjoyed the tasty freshly made breakfasts every morning, we decided to come back for dinner which was an excellent... More

Based on the good Trip Advisor reviews, we visited this restaurant whilst staying at the Arenas del Mar. The cocktails proved decent value and the food was excellent. We loved the freshness of the seafood and the excellent macadamia tart! Hats off to the chef the menu doesn't specify the side vegetables that will be served but they fantastically complimented... You will love this place. Tucked in a little grotto, with just a 2 page menu, but everything is crazy good. Coconut margarita is incredible, as is the seared crunchy tuna with pineapple salsa. Only about 6 tables in the place, so you have it all to yourselves. One complaint - terrible wine list (4 types, all bad) so drink... More

My wife and I ate there on 3/7. The food was terrific, can't say enough on how good it was. I had the tenderloin and she had the chicken burrito. The meat is seasoned then grilled, inserted in a tortilla (with beans, cheese, etc.) and the whole thing is then grilled. We each received 2 of these marvelous delights. On... More

The food was great and the service as well! You defenitely should try the Shrimps (delicious!) and the brownie and macademia nut pie as well.

We just happened to go into Villas Nicolas because it was near our hotel. It is fabulous! We ordered the garlic and spicy shrimp ... and both were so delicious...including the grilled vegetables. We also shared the macadamia pie...and again, it was awesome. Great staff. Highly recommend.

We were directed to the restaurant of this hotel by the proprietor of another hotel because we wanted not just an ordinary tourist establishment but one that stood out for the quality of its food;. it was an excellent recommendation. This is a small restaurant (five or six tables) serving a variety of fish and meat dishes. I had the... More
