Interesting baked goods. Many choices, good for a light, different breakfast. Laid back atmosphere, order at the counter. Don't expect bacon and eggs. A bit pricey.
First of all let me say, the large sticky buns gooey with brown sugar and butter and toasted pecans is worth the trip. So yummy! If the buns are not right out of the oven, have them warm it for you. We had salmon chowder and vegetable barley soup that come with a slice of homemade bread and butter and... More
Just a block from Bishop's Beach, and across the road from the Beluga Slough Trail leading up to the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters, this cafe/bakery is a very popular local institution, with good reason. The food is wonderful! For breakfast we had veggie quiche, and we came back for lunch and had the homemade (made from locally grown... More
Our favorite place for breakfast in Homer. Great vibe, great food, - we usually get the savory pastries and sometimes a treat or two. Love the sisters. If there are any drawbacks its that its usually very busy!
Small but nice place, the sitcky buns are great if you get there in time for them (they sell out fast), the quiches are good too, not a fan of the coffee, havent tried dinners there yet but will soon
I dont' want to give it away, but this place is great for fresh homemade baked goods including brownies, rolls, bread, danish. Have soups and two types of sandwiches for lunch. They reopen for dinner and I've had the best simple, fresh handmade dinner here. I'm so glad I live near this place! When the weather is good, there is... More
Seems every local we spoke to recommended this place so we stopped on our way out of town. Sticky bun was awesome and the peanut butter cookies where delicious. Definitely a must stop for anyone with a sweet tooth.
We enjoyed good cooking here and there is a good selection of delicious freshly baked items. You can also stay here as it has B and b facilities.
A great little spot for breakfast or lunch. Fresh baked pastries, quiche, soup, salads, and excellent coffee. It feels like you are stepping into a friends house. Very warm and inviting. As well as the terrific covered porch, and front play area. Do expect to wait, but it is worth it!
