Hi Karen,
I'm very sorry you had such a bad time at Ginger and Garlic.
I'm sorry to doubt you but you say on your review you visited on Thursdsay last week?
We had a very quiet night on Thursday and no meals were returned to the kitchen.
If ever a meal is returned it is always re-plated and we...

Pleasant dinner for two. Quite posh, but without the attitude! Staff still good Kiwi folk, who make it all much more relaxed than it may appear, without any drop in standards. Tables well spaced, so not at all crowded.
The 'taster for two' option was taken up by two tables near us and they appeared to have a great experience,...

The food was amazing. Beautiful for that special ocassion. Well presented. We had to wait a wee while for our food as we were with a large group, but well worth the wait.
Its my family tradition to eat out on christmas eve..but wished we had chosen somewhere else. Had a bad experience a couple of years ago here but thought we'd give it another go..dissapointing. Tough meat and mostly over fried food. Burnt fried cornfritter complimenatry though! Staff are nice and courteous but for $ 280..not again sorry!
Lovely service, very friendly staff and beautiful food, great dining. The Angus beef Carpaccio was divine
Good choice of dishes and wine, although the duck was bit tough.
This place provides a great atmosphere & views with enjoyable service & best Steak in NZ along with the rest of there food..pour a good cocktail aswell.
We arrived at 7 and didnt get our mains until 8.30. We didnt order starters but were given bread and then charged for it. I asked at 8 and then again at 8.15 where our meals were and I was told both times that they were on the way. We watched one couple arrive, eat and leave all in the...

I had lamb rack which was generous in portion but unseasoned and so raw I couldn't actually cut it with the knife provided. I like meat cooked rare but if you're not...

I'm really sorry you didn't enjoy your time with us on this occasion. Your party of doctors are great customers. I have passed your comments onto the kitchen and they are looking into it.
I would like to make a couple of small comments...
The fish that was returned was one of five sent out to your table. It was...
