I have recommended The Local Grill to many of the guests that stay at my guest house, and all comment on the great meat!

Without fail, The Local Grill brings you the best steak in Johannesburg. Great service & great food. Look out for their signature 'rub' with olive oil and their amazing bread. If you have space, the Lindt chocolate dessert is to die for!

Had the opportunity to eat in the private dining room which was very well appointed. Good wine list, and they have a meat fridge in the back which is a nice walkthrough (esp if you have kids, kinda cool thing to experience). Nice sunny day out on the deck, I had a rocket and blue cheese burger, a deviation from my regular bacon and cheese. Awesome, just the right amount of everything in the meat, the rocket was a change but the blue cheese sauce was perfect, a very good burger

The Local Grill has maintained its standard of excellence over the years. Interesting menu, food selected and prepared with care, service which remains some of the best in town and visible owners. Impossible to visit Jhb without a meal at The Local Grill.

This place beats The GrillHouse in Rosebank hands down. I would never have thought so, and only ventured in there one night because the surrounding restaurants were full (including the GrillHouse). Whilst there is no guarantee, there is a small chance that your steak at The Local Grill could be the best you've ever had.
