Ghazal is consistantly great. Food is absolutely great and the service is on point. I would recommend the Korma and the Samosas to start.

I would say that Ghazal has the best North Indian food in Johannesburg. The decor is warm and inviting and they accomodate kids which is a good thing for us!

I have been eating at Thava for a while and began to feel that their Indian food was not as good as what it used to be. I am glad that i have tried Ghazal again, they definitely are keeping their food nice and spicy and making proper Indian food. In my opinion Ghazal is still making the best indian... More

Excellent North Indian restaurant with a great patio for outside dining at night. My friend wasn't happy with the pahoora - a type of naan bread that has almonds sprinkled on it, and I've had better samosas, but the service is friendly and prompt. If you want to hear your partner then don't go here at night.

The food is quite good. The open seating, good weather added to the quite good food. We had chicken samosas, papads (popadums), chicken malaise tills, lamb vindaloo and dal. Service was good with smiling waiters. Overall good experience.

This is the 4th visit to this popular restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive and are keen to make suggestions regarding choices. As a previous reviewer has said the naan is excellent. I had a chicken korma which had just the right amount of 'bite' for my liking - very tastey.
