In our 4 night stay in sandton, we had dinner three times in Bull Run. It was full all these times. Had to wait some minutes to get a table, but always worth the wait. Absolutely great service, great steaks. Love the place.

We ate here 3 times during our 2 weeks in Jo'burg. Our servers Vance & Julie always had big, warm smiles and suggetsed various meals. We'd heard about the restaurant and initially felt that steak might be a bit boring; but a great steak is hard to find and we found it here. Not to detract from the baby pork ribs which was also amazing. Understanding the menu takes some explaining which must be tedious for the staff but all in great food, good service... More

Love it here. Always amazing food and service. Staff can't do enough to meet requests. Menu is a little weird (high and low prices?) but the quality of the food, wine and especially the steaks is brilliant. Do yourself a favour and book a table.

As you can tell Clive is patient and generous with recommendations from The Bull Run wine cellar. Thank you Clive for so many wonderful dinner experiences.

Ate here while staying at the Protea next door. Enjoyed the food very much. Service was just fine. Young server did his best to make me happy. Small kitchen glitch with order, corrected cheerfully and quickly. Gotta have the potato, not the veggies with the steak! I loved eating here because the waiters were very accommodating. The food was very tasteful and really inexpensive. We enjoyed the atmosphere. The view from outside of the hotel was also great.

We went the the bull run last night. We were a table of 16. Despite being such a big table the service was amazing, the food was delicious and the selection of wine great. Clive made sure our evening was special and for that I thank him. A.really great night.
