excellent service et large choice of food. Venaison, see food, japonese food . You can afford the vine
During my recent stay, decided to eat in-house. Only restaurant was Tradewinds and it did not disappoint. Wanted to try seafood and was recommended Grilled Linefish (something new for me) so have it a try with additional side and one rub. Very good. Seemed a little expensive but as the service was excellent, I felt good overall.
Do yourself a favor and take the free shuttle to the Sandton City Mall area - tons of wonderful resturants. we also had something so tasteless in the lounge all we knew it was fried, I couldn't say whether it was fried cheese or friend chicken..
Four of us had dinner here tonight, the menu is very limited, and the food (sirloin, salmon, burger) was very average. Very boring interior design as well, best avoided. This restaurant and hotel does not do the Hilton brand any favours! Johannesburg has much better options.
I liked the service and the professional feel of the place. The staff were attentive and friendly and made recommendations when asked. The restaurant is large and airy, and comfortable enough to have meetings over a meal, without being noisy. The food was consistently good, if not outstanding, with generous portions, and well presented on heated plates. Prices seemed reasonable,... More
fantastic food selection on the buffet each day. The fruits and veggies were fresh each day.
But I wouldn't consider it to be a destination dine.
Good for those guests who do not want to venture out to any of the other many restaurants in Sandton
The food was ordinary and the service not awfully efficient. The atmosphere was hardly buzzing.
