Good seafood restaurant at reasonable prices in Umhlanga. Regular visitor to Lord Prawn when in umhlanga.
Service like I have need seen anywhere else! Although the restaurant was full, we were offered a drink while a table got set up for us. Our glasses were topped all the time and we never had to look for assistance. They have a person overseeing a few tables to assist with anything you might need. The food was also...

Good food and fair prices, really enjoyable for all the family We liked the sea food (obviously) but the kids also enjoyed the burgers and pasta dishes.
We recently visited Umhlanga on vacation from California and ended up dining at Lord Prawn three times during the week! The staff is so friendly and helpful, they make you feel like you have been a patron for years. They are attentive but not hovering, and made great recommendations for us. The portions are large, it is easy to order...

We have been to Umhlanga on holiday for the past eight years. Dinner at Lord Prawn has become a popular tradition. We always have the million dollar platter which is a must- have for seafood lovers!
Very well priced. Staff always friendly and attentive.
Although the interior needs a little "spice", the restaurant has always had a special, charming ambience....

I got the 1kg of Queen Prawns which was on special for around R130. I thought I would never be able to finish them, but they were so delicious that I did. The waiters were attentive but not overbearing.
The peri peri sauce wasn't hot enough for me so one of the waiters chopped some green chillies and brought them...
