What a lovely hidden gem. Gorgeous décor and a lovely open feel to this café. I only had a very good coffee and a salad but will definitely be back for more.
We go a few times a year for breakfast or lunch, but looking at the special & nice interior, we always expect more from the food. Maybe it's us, but we think it used to be better.
Desperate for coffee and cake, we were enticed by the description of delectable cakes on their website, only to be told: baked cheesecake or muffins. In my book a coffee shop without chocolate cake isn't a coffee shop at all.

we were one of two tables occupied in restaurant, they took it as invitation to do staff training on alcoholic drinks, move a piano in, move plant pots around, and be generally noisy as if the restaurant was empty. smoothie was sour. once again, we will never be back.

Family driven by mother as manager and son as chef. Beautiful tranquil surroundings. They have two private areas ideal for bookclub meetings or birthday celebrations. Sit in the private courtyard or inside. If you visit the Garden Route, don't miss out on this one.
