We were looking forward to a delicious coffee and breakfast on Sunday after a camping trip. Service really poor, coffee like dishwater, unappetizing presentation of simple breakfast dish. Ant 5 year old could have done a better job! My suggestion is to walk another 5 steps and enjoy the food at ANY other restaurant on the waterfront. The worst EVER!!!!
Had a perfectly lovely lunch here with my partner, food was fine and the servers were great. Our foreign card was not accepted by their machine, as we were calling the bank to clear the block the manager became incensed and began screaming at us, calling me a racist and anti-South African, completely unprovoked. As frequent visitors to this great...

We had a wonderful time at this delightfull eatery right near the sea. We ate the well presented fish and chips with salads, while watching the whales in the bay. The food was really well done and the service efficient, friendly, and fast. Yes, it is not a fine dining establishment, but for good value for money, this just cant...

We stopped off in Hermanus on our way back to Stellenbosch from Arniston. There are good sea views from under the parasols. We had grilled Kingklip which was excellent and a chicken sandwich which was disappointing.
friendly staff, quick service and very reasonable prices. walking distance from town centre parking easy on the day
The seating and views were very good, have to admit the food was average, but enjoyable, we would eat there again, but not necessarily our first choice.
Wonderful setting overlooking Hermanus Bay so you can whale watch whilst you eat. Efficient and pleasant service. Prawns tasty if a little cold and dry. Food and prices fairly average but worth going there just for the view.
Go for the view, which is great, the food is all right and served reasonably quickly, it is a bit noisy but that goes with the spot. Not for a romantic lunch but don't avoid it - it's a tourist spot but not a tourist trap.
