had a nice meal,we went for the seafood platter which lived up to our expectations for selection and quality.good service and nice decor.

Thank you for the amazing service, your friendly waiter and great selection of sweet and savory treats on the " high tea for two" It was such a special treat in your elegant surroundings, with amazing views over the ocean. Thank you for an old fashioned establishment fit for a Queen and her Princess!

As a local to Hermanus, we know how few restaurants can deliver a fine dining experience in Hermanus. My friend and I like to be spoilt when we do not cook at home, so for a treat we dined here last Friday evening.

The Marine Hotel Hermanus has been around for at least 90 years and appears to be the haunt of the Cape Town vieux riche and sons of the Empire. We arrived on the doorstep at 8pm on a Saturday and they found us a lovely table. Lovely food and just "gentle" waiters - in that they were friendly and cheerful, but also left us to enjoy the relaxing environment. We had delicious fish and desserts. Can't really complain about anything!

A splendid restaurant at the Marine hotel, an iconic hostelry in this holiday resort. Go for 'Rich man's fish and chips' using the whitest of white hake. It goes so well with the Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc 2012.

We have been there for lunch on our way to Cape Town! The venue is very chic and the service is very good! I tried the ravioli (average) and the fish accompanied by a glass of wine. Finally I found a good cheesecake in South Africa! The bill overall was very convenient, taking into account the venue. I recommend it...
