Returned for another delicious lunch at Tokara and we were not disappointed. Food consistently very good and portions are reasonable.They have a winter special on at the moment which is worth trying. Only criticism is that when we ordered wine by the glass, it was not poured at the table, and the red wine was poured into a white wine... More

The view is just perfect. The food is great. I have hiked from this farm up to Simonsberg mountain. Even better view!!!! It is so great to be back and eat a nice meal. But stick to the wines from Thelema, next door.

I went there with my friends for a dinner service, we were shown a table dats sits 6people and we were only 4! We ordered the food took like 40min! I ate Springbok with Potato croquettes it was lovely though the roasted beetroot seemed to be burnt I left them and for desert " Chocolate eclair (wonderful) !

Impressive looking, very good food, the only disappointment was that we had phoned to book a table outside on the terrace but our booking was lost and we had to sit inside, quite far from the view, and the air conditioning was on so strong that we had to go get our jerseys out of the car!
